Basler's Magnetic Product Group offers a multitude of agency approved Class 2 transformers for use in low voltage control circuits. Basler's standard line of Class 2 control transformers has input voltages up to 600V in common frequencies, with output voltages of 12V (5VA to 25VA), 24V (5VA to 75VA), and 25V (100VA) that are available to satisfy your product application requirements.
Designs employ a UL approved 130° C or 155° C insulation system and are Recognized or Listed to UL 5085-1, 5085-3 and certified to CAN/CSA C22.2, No. 66.1, No.66.3, or cRU/cUL.
Standard designs eliminate costly engineering charges and approval delays.
If a custom design is required, Basler's engineering staff can develop a Class 2 transformer to meet your unique specification requirements.
Basler's standard Class 2 transformers are either Inherently Energy Limited (meaning no secondary protection is required) or Non-Inherently Energy Limited (meaning secondary protection is required). In addition, Basler offers flexibility in construction, mounting, and termination options.
These Class 2 transformers are sold to OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) for incorporation into their end product. Basler Electric can draw upon our years of experience to assist in meeting your specific needs. Please refer to our product and transformer grouping section for standard voltages and mechanical offerings.
