The NIBCO® ductile iron butterfly valve provides ease of operation with quarter-turn (90 degrees) open to close. The Buna-N cartridge seat liner with aluminum bronze disc provides good abrasion resistance properties and compatibility with solvents, oil, water and hydraulic fluid. An extended neck allows for insulation up to 2 inches.
The NIBCO® lug type double flanged butterfly valve provides bubble-tight shutoff at 150 psi and bi-directional dead-end service without a downstream flange to 100 psi. The valve is recommended for commercial and some light industrial process applications, in addition to HVAC and hot and cold potable water.
