The NIBCO® ductile iron butterfly valve provides ease of operation with quarter-turn (90 degrees) open to close. The unique molded-in Buna-N seat liner with ductile iron disc provides good abrasion resistance properties and compatibility with solvents, oil, water and hydraulic fluid for compressed air and vacuum applications. With the internal stem/disc geometric drive design there is no need for pins or bolts that may create leak paths or turbulence in the waterway. An extended neck allows for insulation up to 2 inches.
The NIBCO® lug type butterfly valve provides bi-directional dead-end service without a downstream flange, and bubble-tight shutoff at 250 psi. The valve is ideal for commercial and some light industrial process applications, compressed air and vacuum services.
