The sensors with metal heads are specially used for long distance detection and operates in extreme environmental conditions. The work piece can rub against the sensor. The complete stainless-steel housing sensor with metal heads can be used for long distance detection equivalent to or greater than Proximity Sensors with resin heads. The sensor also offers more than 20 times*2 the durability of Proximity Sensors. The sensor features aluminum chip immunity and is available in spatter-resistant models with fluororesin coating and as pre-wired smartclick connector models.
